I work in Private Practice and within the NHS services specialising in drug and alcohol addiction. I am experienced in treating addictions, complex trauma, self-harm, anxiety, depression and body dysmorphia. I also help with issues around relationships, loss and bereavement, sexuality, self-acceptance and self-compassion. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I have a range of different approaches at my hands to find what would best suit your needs. I work holistically, which means that we would attend to your mind, body, feelings and your environment as you experience them in the memory of your past, in the here and now, and how you imagine them in the future. On my part, I offer my thoughts, feelings, emotions and senses, my experience and skills, and my honesty, kindness, acceptance and support. My academic credentials include: Diploma in Integrative Counselling (awarded by The Minster Centre and accredited by the BACP) and MSc in Psychology (awarded by Middlesex University and accredited by the BPS). I have undertaken training in: Object Relations and Analytic Tradition; Contemporary Humanistic Practice; Diversity; Gender Diversity and Further Sexuality (LGBTN); Body in Psychotherapy; Childhood Sexual Abuse; Time-Limited Therapy; CBT Skills; Attachment; Skills for Trauma; Trauma and Dissociation; Trauma and Attachment; Working Therapeutically with Trauma; Eating Disorders; Domestic Abuse; Death and Bereavement; Transpersonal; Severe Presentations and the Use of Drugs; Psychiatric Assessment; Self-harm and Suicide; Working with Self-harm in Adolescents and Young Adults; Drug and Alcohol Addiction; Working with Body Dysmorphic Disorder; The Power of Mindful Self-Compassion; Biological and Cognitive Psychology; Social Psychology and Individual Differences; Developmental Psychology. I am certified by the OU and BACP in ‘How to Do Counselling Online: A Coronavirus Primer’. Practice description Depending on your needs and my availability, we would sign a time-limited or open-end contract. I charge from £70 on a sliding scale depending on the number of sessions per week, time of session and your income, which will be agreed upon at the end of the Clinical Assessment. I offer a limited number of low cost sessions to those on a low income and students. Please email for an enquiry stating your circumstances. Currently, all sessions are conducted over the internet or phone. Outside of pandemic times, I conduct face-to-face, online and phone sessions. In exceptional circumstances, when a client is unable to leave their home or in emergency, I may do home visits, which would be charged differently. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am also a member of the Federation of Alcohol and Drug Practitioners (FDAP). I adhere to the BACP, BPS and FDAP codes of ethics, maintain a non-judgmental stance and have a great respect for differences and diversity in culture, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, class, social status, sexuality, gender, neurodiversity and body differences. I speak both English and Russian fluently, and can therefore conduct therapy in either language. My first session When you get in touch, you will be offered a free initial consultation (15-minutes, phone or on-line). This is an opportunity to get to know each other a little before entering into any payed agreement and to schedule a Clinical Assessment if we decide to proceed further. The Clinical Assessment is one of the most important elements of treatment, and is usually done across one or two 50-minute sessions (sometimes one session is not enough so the client is asked to come back for the second session on the following week). During this session/s, I will ask you some questions to get a feel for your past, current life issues, aspirations and concerns for your future. You also will be able to ask me questions. We will explore and outline the problems that brought you to therapy, your goals and potential ways of us working together. At the end of the Assessment, we should be able to decide how we proceed further and whether you need other specialist referral/s. What I can help with Abuse, Addictions, AIDS/HIV, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, Loss, Men’s issues, Obsessions, Personal development, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Service veterans, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women’s issues, Work related issues.

I am an integrative therapist based in Kingston Upon Thames/ Coombe. I draw upon a range of different theoretical approaches to meet your individual needs as I believe each person's experiences are unique to them. I am experienced in helping people through their difficulties offering both short term and long term therapy. I believe that personal therapy helps people to reflect on how their personal experiences affect them and develop a self awareness, as well as emotional resilience in a safe, empathetic and confidential environment allowing the client to feel empowered, whilst being able to communicate openly. As an integrative therapist I use several different approaches which includes - Psychodynamic (PDT), Humanistic approach - Person Centred therapy (PCT) based on personal growth and self development & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) used for specific phobias and anxieties. At times there may be no words to describe a feeling or experience, I offer a safe place to explore this process with you using writing, colouring, images, pebbles and mindfulness techniques.

Life could be challenging. No matter who you are, you will face some obstacles along the way. Whether it’s financial, emotional, mental, or physical, almost everyone has immense challenges to overcome. Everyone’s path is different, but, in the end, we’re all looking for the same thing, happiness. Some people find joy in their career, others find it in a romantic relationship, and some in a new sense of self-confidence. Happiness means something different to us all, which is why achieving it can be so complicated and confusing. There is no single recipe for becoming satisfied with your life, but you’ll always benefit from a helping hand.
