About Justask Counselling

Professional experience
I am an integrative therapist based in Kingston Upon Thames/ Coombe. I draw upon a range of different theoretical approaches to meet your individual needs as I believe each person's experiences are unique to them. I am experienced in helping people through their difficulties offering both short term and long term therapy. I believe that personal therapy helps people to reflect on how their personal experiences affect them and develop a self awareness, as well as emotional resilience in a safe, empathetic and confidential environment allowing the client to feel empowered, whilst being able to communicate openly. As an integrative therapist I use several different approaches which includes - Psychodynamic (PDT), Humanistic approach - Person Centred therapy (PCT) based on personal growth and self development & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) used for specific phobias and anxieties. At times there may be no words to describe a feeling or experience, I offer a safe place to explore this process with you using writing, colouring, images, pebbles and mindfulness techniques.
