Orpington Alpha1 Driving School is a small independent driving school offering high quality driving tuition at normal cost. We specialise in automatic instruction and special needs clients eg those on the autistic spectrum (SAD). Our prices are clearly shown on our site and our average number of hours to successful test is very low and our pass-rate consistently twice the national average.

I was messed around by 2 of the larger driving schools and wasn't getting nowhere. Heard about Orpington driving school getting my cousin through test who has Asperger. After months and a load of money wasted, I got more out of the first lesson with Michael than all the other lessons.. I just passed my test at Sidcup with only 12 hours lessons. I really liked the mock tests experience. They were exactly like the real thing. Cheers

Michael, at Alpha 1 is such a good driving instructor. He is very calm and patient and instills confidence right from the first lesson. He has taught both my children to drive. My daughter started lessons with another local instructor and after paying for lots of lessons she went for her test and failed. Luckily we found Alpha 1 and after just a few lessons with Michael her confidence was restored and she passed with only one minor fault. I would thoroughly recommend Alpha 1.
