Before setting up my online business, I enjoyed a variety of roles with Human Resources and built a strong specialism in Recruitment and Selection. However, my health deteriorated suddenly and I found myself in a position of being in and out of work whilst being tested for numerous conditions. After experiencing emergency surgery which led to further complications, it was whilst recovering that a friend suggested offering my skills on Facebook and as I was slowly going out of my mind not having a sense of purpose or direction in my life. I set up an account, just for fun. I was pleasantly surprised of how many people did reach out and I helped them in securing their next role. From that point onwards, it snowballed into a healthy, growing business.
