Hi, I'm pilates passionate Roxy and I love helping my clients feel their best! With over 10 years of health and fitness education and industry experience, I can confidently say I can support you to achieve your goals and to make positive changes to your health and fitness habits. I've enjoyed coaching absolute beginners to athletes, clients with disabilities, injuries and those going through pregnancy. I've expanded my services to a variety of indoor and outdoor settings for example; homes, parks, gyms, clinical surgeries and worked with groups including; Virgin Active, The British Swim Team, The West Point Physiotherapy Practice, Sandwell Council, Age Concern, LGBT After having trained as a dancer for over 14yrs and due to a spine condition from childhood, I understand and value the benefits and healing powers of exercise which are too great not to share with you. That's why I do what I do! The philosophy of our sessions will be to engage the mind and body. I adopt a personally tailored approach with patience and flexibility, listening and seeking to understand your needs. I can offer you an authentic, committed and positive atmosphere where you can feel safe, whilst you become empowered and have fun. I would love to connect with you and answer any questions. Roxy is a fantastic trainer both in respect of her knowledge but also her ability to empathise and listen to the needs of her clients. She trained me for over two years helping me to lose a considerable amount of weight (just under 5 stone). She taught me about nutrition, use of exercise equipment (in a fun effective way), introduced me to technology/apps that could support my goals in my spare time, and she also taught me to not be so hard on myself- to listen to and respect my body, and to do what I can, when I can, rather than no training at all if I was feeling of low mood/energy. She is a wonderful, empathetic, effective trainer and if knowledge is power, she gave me knowledge which I continue to put into practice to this day to stay in excellent health. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking self improvement and achieving their goals, great or small.

Roxy is so patient and genuine in her commitment to helping you achieve your goals, making you feel at ease immediately and talking you through all of the benefits. I look forward to our classes as I feel like I leave with so much more energy and I’m so much more aware of my posture. She gave me some simple upper body moves to do at my desk whilst working from home slouched over a laptop which have been great!

I took part in a virtual Pilates class which has been a lifesaver since lockdown. Roxy was ever so caring, attentive and knowledgeable. She made sure I was moving correctly, even over zoom. I can't recommend Roxy enough and can't wait till my next class!

My experience with Roxy was nothing short of amazing. I met Roxy a few years ago when I was a member at the then Virgin Gym. I was not planning on using a personal trainer however all of that changed when I met Roxy. Roxy helped me in so many ways in terms of my fitness goals and overall health and wellbeing. She is one of these trainers that instantly gets what you are trying to achieve and will stop at nothing in helping you achieve your goals. My experience and time with Roxy was brilliant- had she not moved away I know I would have been training with her today. She helped me set goals and kept me motivated and the results that I achieved whilst training with Roxy were outstanding. I would recommend anyone who has the chance to work with Roxy to take it you will not be disappointed and you will make a friend for life. Rav Dhillon

Having trained as a dancer, I experienced from a young age the health and wellbeing benefits that movement brings to the body and mind. I wanted such benefits to be available to a wider audience.

I've enjoyed coaching absolute beginners to athletes, clients with disabilities, injuries and those going through pregnancy.

I enjoyed working with the younger British Swim Team in Birmingham. I assisted them with their core strength and posture as they trained for future events such as the Common Wealth and Olympic Games.

Look for a trainer who really listens. It may be important for you to find a trainer who you can trust in their ability to advise you, but that they can also be flexible to your individual needs. So if they offer a taster session you can use that as an opportunity to see how you feel about working with them. You should feel safe because you can see they have your best interests at the heart of what they do, if they seem pushy to get a sale, that is a warning sign in my eyes.

1. Think about why you would like to work with a trainer, so you can ask them how would they be able to support you. 2. What you are hoping to achieve or get out of having a trainer? Just a rough idea to start with, it is the job of the trainer to help you set some goals : ). 3. Think about if you have had any past/current experience of exercise that you enjoyed or disliked. Most trainers are diverse but some like to specialise in a certain type of training, are they a good fit for you?
