I think that pricing very much depends on what the client wants from the experience and how many hours are involved. I'm open to discussion and listening to budget requirements and concerns. It's very much a two way discussion.

Begin with an informal discussion about the clients needs for the day and the end product. Talk about the style of the shoot and the desired budget.

I am a Bachelor of Arts Photography graduate from Bournemouth University, one of the leading universities in the UK for photography. In 2010 I won the AOC (Association of Colleges) photography competition which is run across all the colleges in the UK.

I was trying to decide a career path at the end of school and discovered a course at my local college. After achieving outstanding results there, I went on to university to study Photography. I've always had a flair for visual images, even as a child with parents camera I could produce something beyond the ordinary.

Business people, celebrities, members of the public, couples in love, children and families, pets and wildlife!

I had a great time photographing the fjords of Norway on a trip in August. The scenery is magical and as a big fan of the show the Vikings it was an amazing experience to be able to photograph the are used as Kattegat in the first series.

Look at the quality of the images in the portfolio and have a chat to the photographer to start building on the relationship. Get to know your photographer a little and feel comfortable with them, this in turn will help make more relaxed images.

I think being realistic about pricing is important. Everyone has a budget and most photographers recognise this and will be willing to discuss deals and promotions. Ultimately though be aware that you may pay a slightly higher price for a professional but the results will be wonderful.
