FAQs

Every assignment is different. I discuss with my client exactly what is required and we arrive at a fair and reasonable price. I have no set "price list"

To chat first about exactly what is required. Possibly to visit beforehand where the event will take place so that the photographer knows the lighting and therefore what equipment is required.

Life's experience.

I have had a lifelong interest in photography

I have worked with individuals through to large companies such as Heart of Midlothian FC, Travelodge, Edinburgh University and many more

Recently I had the job of photographing a two day conference for Edinburgh University.. It was challenging due to the low level of lighting and very little natural light. I was unable to use flash so as not to disturb the speakers. This involved extensive use of Adobe Lightroom to balance out the light and dark areas of the photographs

Do your homework. Look at the photographer's website. See what kind of clients they have. Don't just go for the cheapest option.

Ask the photographer if he has done this type of event previously. Ask to see examples of it. Give the photographer a shot list of the most important photos that you require. Often clients just leave this up to me. Us photographers prefer to know which photos the client mostly wants
