If I could award more than 5 stars I would. Danny confirmed my appointment the evening before (unheard of) and arrived the following day as arranged and bang on time. He is extremely personable and reassuring. He quickly and calmly assessed the situation and prioritised the work ensuring as little inconvenience as possible. When I first contacted Danny I had asked him to undertake some general plumbing repairs and replacement of a damaged floorboard. When taking up my carpet it was evident that a number of floorboards were damaged due to some kind of rot or woodworm. When I explained this to Danny he wasn't fazed and assessed the problem without the dreaded sucking in of breath or the lament 'this will cost' or 'this will be a big job'. He quickly confirmed woodworm, checked the joists and went out to purchase new floorboards and treated the whole floor. All other tasks undertaken were completed superbly and there was no mess for me to tackle when he'd left. He kept me informed throughout and checked everything with me. He also provided lots of advice and tips for a few other jobs I have in mind.
I think he should consider changing his company name to Dan the Five Star Man.
I will definitely be recommending Danny to my family and friends - but not until I have handed over the list of jobs I have lined up for him!
