Professional experience
The crucial aspect for me is that the client is happy with the results, so I ensure that I listen to them to help deliver exactly the styles and ideas of images they are looking for. During the shoot, I will show them examples of what I have captured to check that this is what they want. Additionally, I always send the client copies of the unedited images before proceeding further and will ask them if there are any they particularly like; if so, I will edit those first.
