Thanks for clicking on Chris Adams Personal Training I provide one-to-one personal training at Real World Fitness. A small gym, limited to 100 members and is the friendliest, least intimidating gym I’ve ever been to. This is a perfect place to learn and train if you’re someone who doesn’t like commercial gyms or finds gyms intimidating. I’ve worked with every type of client you can imagine, from underweight people who want to gain muscle, to overweight people looking to lose weight. I currently have clients from 10 years to 72 years old, I’ve had clients recovering from heart attacks, strokes, recovering from serious injury, lost their mobility, bad macks, suffering from Lupis and much more. I’m confident I can help you. There is an on-site physio and sports massage therapist. There’s even free coffee for all members. Every routine is designed just for you and your goals and lifestyle so you can maintain it for the long term. I don’t believe in a fixed, cookie-cutter system, adapting things to each client’s unique situation and goals. None of my clients are given the same routine. I’ll make sure that your effort is focused in the right places, saving you months or years to reach your goals. I don’t believe in gimmicks, or quick fixes, just proven training methods that will give you results that you want. I won’t stand and shout at you while you exercise, nor will I push you so hard that you feel sick. Every routine is designed just for you and your goals and lifestyle, so you can achieve your goals and maintain them for the long term. Frist you'll have a consultation with me where we'll go through everything I need to know to create your program like your goals, health etc. I'll take your measurements (if you're comfortable with it) and weight you. The first few sessions will be to find out what you can and can't do, and to get you used to training again. Using all this information I'll create a program to achieve your goals.

I have a client who is 72, and before seeing he hadn’t stepped foot into a gym , or done any exercise before. He was started to notice simple things like getting off the sofa, and bending down to pick things up was becoming difficult. He used to play golf several times a week, but had to give it up due to not being able to bend over and pick up the ball. We have been working on his leg strength, and he can now pick things off the floor without using one of his hands to hold on to something. He can now squat to parallel onto a box and stand up without assistance. Soon he’ll be able to do a full body weight squat, and start playing golf again. This has greatly improved his quality of life in just threes months.
