Mark is an excellent personal trainer, which is why I’ve been with him so long.
He devised a number of varied fitness programs for me once he had assessed my fitness levels and what I wanted to achieve, and off we went.
As I’ve got stronger and more confident he has updated the programs. Obviously due to the unusual circumstances this year we’ve been in the gym, in my house and the garden and when that hasn’t been possible he’s given me programs to do on my own.
When I fell off a ladder, decorating, Mark did loads of research, backed up by his knowledge of physiology to devise exercises to help my knee to regain its strength and flexibility. We also have quite a lot of fun; he suggests new things for me to do, I have a bit of a moan, but get on with it.
Every session I feel a real sense of achievement and that is all down to Mark.

At first I was nervous about working with a PT as I was self-conscious about my lack of experience in the gym and using fitness equipment. However it has been one of the best things I have done. I have been working with Mark for nearly 2 years. His workouts and guidance take account of my limitations due to a chronic illness. He thinks out of the box with his workouts and encourages me to push myself out of my comfort zone to achieve my goals. Mark’s encouragement, knowledge, motivation and support inspire me to feel more confident and he has shown me what I can do to improve my fitness, strength, balance and mobility.
