I am happy to work on an hourly rate (£65 per hour) or a daily rate (£480 per day) and on an ad-hoc or ongoing basis. Travel expenses may be incurred if more than 50 km travel is required.

Ideally I like to meet face to face within the business in question, to understand more about the environment and the challenges facing the business as well as the people . involved. I like to work with the key decision makers and find out more about where the business has come from and what aspirations have been created so far for the future.

I am educated to degree level and have CIM qualifications in addition. However, most of my knowledge has been gleaned from almost 20 years within the corporate manufacturing sector as well as some time working within smaller business across a variety of sectors.

All my working life I have been involved in marketing and then moved in to more strategic elements within corporate, reaching senior management positions. From there I was lucky enough to be given the chance to work for myself so I can help those businesses who really need some fresh eyes and inspiration.

I work across many industries. Some of my clients have kindly offered testimonials on my website. My clients have ranged from furniture makers, to cheesemakers, to web designers, to beauticians, community interest companies, energy savers, education, bridal, personal finance & mortgages to name a few. Basically I can work pretty much in any industry, plus my corporate background is in manufacturing.

I have recently really enjoyed working with a medium sized business who make high end handmade and finished furniture from scratch. My brief was to create a new website, write copy, and create a marketing plan to promote amongst new client sectors including tactics as well as strategy. The project lasted around 5 months.
