FAQs

My standard pricing system is as follows: Solo Walks £11.99 Group Walks £10.99 You can also add an additional dog to the walk for half the price.

My typical process is simple we either meet up in person or via Zoom to exchange additional requirements about the dogs care routine. It also allows both me and the client to build a rapport which is vital to building great customer relationships. If both parties are happy we will sign the terms and conditions and we can start the dog walking service with the new client.

Educational background Apart from doing growing up on a farm full of animals, I have recently completed the following: 1. Canine Behaviour Diploma Achieved at (Distinction) 2. Canine First Aid 3. Clean Driving Licence 4. DBS Checked

My dog walking business started in 2020 summer during the first lockdown as I found I had a lot of time on my hands like a lot of people, and I really wanted a career change. I've always loved dogs and animals. That's my insight into how I started doing this type of work.

I've worked with a few different clients now, every dog is different but they are just as lovely and awesome. Doing this job makes you realise just how close people are with their dogs and it's always refreshing to see.

I'm not sure if this question is relevant to a professional dog walker. However, my recent completion of a Canine Training Diploma was really satisfying to complete as it took a lot of work. I completed the course with a distinction grade which really made all the hard work worthwhile.

Do your research and ask the right questions in regards to your dog's care, for example: What is your lead policy? How many dogs do you walk at once? Do you have canine insurance?
