Professional experienceMy name is Ellie, and I'm an 19 year old animal science student with a large experience of a variety of animals. I currently share my home with a rather large furry family- ranging from dogs and rabbits, to scorpions and praying mantids- most of whom are rescues. As an avid animal lover, I am passionate about providing the best possible care for any pets that may come into my care. I am not just your average animal lover- and will go above and beyond to keep any of your beloved furry (and not so) friends thriving in my care. I have been brought up around animals of various kinds all of my life, due to having an animal mad family. From the minute I was born, my best friend was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier; and my love for all animals has simply grown from there. I’m not afraid of hard work, and am more than willing to care for animals with more difficult behavioural, dietary, health etc. needs, who others may not. I have a wide experience of this: from unbroken horses to dogs with anxiety issues to biting reptiles. I am DBS checked, and a certificated pet first aider. I am trained in dog CPR, and have access to my own transportation.
