Professional experience
I have been a professional dog behavioural trainer since *information hidden*I hold a University Diploma (level 5) in dog training and behavioural modification. I was assessed for my competence of practical class based dog training and force free dog training by APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) in 2002 and I hold two practical competency awards; Instructor skills and Advanced level teaching skills, from PDTI (Pet Dog Training Instructors) in 2010 and *information hidden*I am also a Kennel Club GCDS examiner. I attend many seminars, webinars, conferences, etc., to keep my CPD up to date. My specialist skills are unconfident dogs, relationship and trust issues, teaching and educating owners about correct dog social skills and educating owners on why a dog displays a certain behaviour and understanding their dog body language, plus I have plenty of patience. I am very passionate about educating owners on the simplest of dog husbandry and on getting the dog training industry regulated. I have been voted in the top three dog trainers of Stoke on Trent of ‘Three Best Rated’ for a number of years.
