Apollo Music - The end of a 30-year musical legacy fans of music all over the Paisley and beyond were left heartbroken after Mike Dillon announced that his record store Apollo Music would shut down after almost 30 years of serving the community. As a hub for all things music in Paisley, the popular record store will forever remain a part of the town's musical legacy. Though Apollo Music was known for its collection of vinyl records and CD, its reach extended beyond its shop's walls. It was a key player in organizing musical events and inviting local DJs to perform in various venues. Recognized as one of the top 10 DJs in Paisley, Renfrewshire on StarOfService, Apollo Music's mobile DJ services provided the perfect entertainment for parties and weddings in Glasgow and all over Scotland. The music community in Paisley and surroundings showed their support on the last day of trading, with crowds gathering outside to say goodbye to the iconic store. Calum Woodger covered the emotional event, reflecting on the end of an era for Paisley's music scene. Despite this sad end, the mark left by Apollo Music will continue to reverberate within the vibrant arts and culture scene that defines Paisley.
