Professional experience
Reliable, friendly, professional. I started when PC's first started to go into homes. I have worked for ICL in a large call centre dealing with customers PC issues, back in the Windows 95 days. I worked for the Microsoft Help desk, I then went into the City of London to work as a Helpdesk and first-line technician in a five-floor Healthcare regulator, supporting over 300 staff. I progressed to a second line and third line technician. Eventually, I became the Network Manager, Servers, Firewalls, Layer 2 and 3 switches, AD, DNS, GPO, DHCP. Anything on the Network was secured. Servers built from RAID Configuration upwards to Hyper-V and Vmware, PC Builds and deploy. I became an IT Manager and looked after 2 offices in the Bank area of London in the Oil & Gas industry. I currently work as a Lead Network Engineer in Sevenoaks. Why am I here - Not for the money, I have in my ethos a strong desire to fix and get IT working, with my years of skill and knowledge to draw from. The support side of me never goes away. I am the IT technician that is motivated by seeing the end-user happy and their system working. How can i help you?
