We normally charge per head for events & functions & the total costs depends on which menu you choose. We have set menus but we can also work with you to tailor a menu to suit your requirements & budget.
When we start communicating with a new client we work with them to choose a menu best suited to their needs & requirements.
Once this has been decided we take a deposit and this confirms the booking.
We can keep in contact & answer any questions or enquiries they may have to ensure the event goes as smoothly as possible.
The final payment is due either 1 week in advance or on the day of the event depending on what type of event it is but this is always also agreed in advance.
I have all of the necessary food hygiene certificates and am registered with North Lanarkshire Council. I
I started off providing food for events & parties for family & friends & got amazing feedback so my business grew from there.
I have worked with a huge array of clients for both corporate & private events.
I have catered for all types of events from weddings, funerals christenings & all types of private parties. I have also helped to cater for numerous charity events and worked with professional bodies.
I had an enquiry from the Scottish Rowing Team to provide meals for athletes who were training over a period of a week. I tailored some menus that would be suitable for their needs & dietary requirements and had amazing feedback as to how much they enjoyed the variety & quality of the food. At the end of the week, there was a rowing event and I provided packed lunches for over 300 people and catered for lots of different dietary requirements such as vegan, halal & gluten-free. I really enjoyed working with the rowing team and built up a great rapport with them.
The best advice I could give prospective clients is to try & provide as much information regarding their needs as this allows us to provide a service tailored to your requirements.
The main question I think they should be considering before talking to Professionals is - Do you know what you want or are you looking for suggestions from us? I get a lot of enquiries where people have decided to have an event but don't know what kind of food they would like to make their occasion a success and it can be difficult to gauge if any suggestions we make are what they are looking for. Have some ideas & we can work with you to make sure we provide exactly what you would like.
