Designed by a firm in Aylsham, its garden elevation resembled large modern farm buildings, making it one of the best 'Grand Designs' homes in Norfolk. The owners, Luke and Klara Hawes, were extremely satisfied with the aesthetics and functionality of the home. Grain is also known for their work on the Rutherford Shepherd's Hut. After Fritha Waters, a garden designer, purchased the hut from a local manufacturer near Reepham, Grain transformed it into a luxurious holiday home. The addition of modern luxuries has made the hut a hit with visitors. The Reepham Society noted the impressive work done by Grain on St. Michael's Church. The society was initially concerned about the practicality of the renovations, but were left impressed by how splendid the tower of St. Michael's looked after Grain's work. Grain's expertise extends beyond renovation projects, as they have also completed remarkable new builds like the BlueSky Barn. Grain's outstanding work in their field is rivaled by few, and their ability to blend old architectural styles with new, modern styles has made them highly sought after by clients.
