Very happy client! As a family engineering business we have always been reasonably successful here in Scotland, but despite receiving a few enquiries never quite managed to crack an export market. Following our meeting with Jon and his boss Colin back in November 2016 we made some changes to our website, re-designed our company brochure and asked Copernicus to find us customers overseas. Today, following a trip I made out to the UAE 2 weeks ago, we have our first export order from a customer with the future sales potential to allow us to make a step change in our operations. We were introduced to Colin by our contact in Austrade. Colin and his colleagues from Copernicus UAE organised our product launch to the UAE markets last year. Making all the arrangements and attracting key media persons and potential buyers. This was a tough task to launch a luxury consumer range in the current economic climate, but the hard work and endeavour paid off with a fantastic response. Top group of people to work with, will use them again in California later in 2017.
We are a HVAC business from Chennai, India. We have the benefit of using the Copernicus services in UK and Denmark to find new distribution customers. The work was very well completed on time, finding us excellent distributors in less than 3 months. I was particularly impressed that the consultant was prepared to work most diligently and contribute much thought to how we should present our company and products. It is now our plan to go further with the Copernicus way of finding distributors and use the services again in Germany and Holland.
Colin has completed two projects for us so far. The first being an international strategy development plan over a period of 3 months. The plan is extremely well thought through, detailed, practical to implement and has elements which we within the business would not have considered. This has had a significant positive impact on our sales and profitability.
The 2nd project, which arose from the plan, was the attraction of master franchisees in overseas markets. Within 6 months we have signed contracts in The Netherlands and Germany, in the Netherlands already the 1st actual franchisees are signed up and coming to the UK for training in February.
We will continue to use Copernicus to expand our business horizons for the foreseeable future. They are cost effective, professional and good to collaborate with.
Copernicus carried out a detailed quantitative market research project on our behalf in the UK, Germany, Spain and The Netherlands over a period of 8 weeks. The output was extremely comprehensive, well thought through and has had a positive influence on our product launch. We have already engaged them to investigate the potential for us in South East Asia. All in all, good people to work with!
We approached Colin and the Copernicus team in early 2016, looking for some business direction guidance.
