About Careys
Professional experience
Careys is a well-known club and bar in Coventry, United Kingdom, that has been serving the local community for over 30 years. The club is famous for its live entertainment, student nights, cocktails, stand-up comedy, and guest House and Drum and Bass DJs, attracting audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Throughout the years, Careys has welcomed internationally acclaimed DJs such as DJ Pied Piper, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Jack Groove and Elijah & Skilliam, who have provided music and entertainment for club-goers, leaving unforgettable memories. Unfortunately, after being a legendary spot for entertainment, Careys announced its closure in November 2014 after 30 years of activity. However, its legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of the people who called it home. Careys was the best place for a good night out. The club offered a range of entertainment options, including live DJs, student nights, live bands, and stand-up comedy. Club-goers could sip cocktails while dancing the night away to the sounds of guest DJs. Careys was home to many events, such as Irish dancers and live entertainment featuring Front Row and DJ Shansky. The unique atmosphere and innovative entertainment set Careys apart from other nightclubs and bars. Though it was unfortunate that Careys had to close its doors, it remains a beloved spot in Coventry's nightlife scene. The people of Coventry will always remember the incredible memories made at Careys, and the bar and club's impact on the city's nightlife will never be forgotten.
