Professional experience
I am a chartered structural engineer with over 26 years experience in all forms of structural design. Able to perform structural inspections and produce reports on findings as well as design steel beams, timber frames foundations, basements and much more. Have worked on many listed buildings as well as residential projects as new builds and conversions, airports, waste recycling center, vehicle repair centers, pubs, restaurants and much more. With links to architectural teams across the country we are able to look after every step of your project. Having worked in a construction environment also I pride myself on build-able solutions to structural problems and consider how things will be carried and put in place not just whether the math works.

I run a small property development company specialising in conversions of houses to flats and extensions of single dwellings . I initially wanted an architect who was based close to where I work in South London. I posted on a different site to find someone as the architect I had who was London based was expensive and impossible to get hold of, which I found extremely frustrating. After a year of working with Richard I cannot praise him highly enough. He always goes the extra mile, he is fair, professional and understands how to get the best out of a building both design wise and financially. My initial concern of him being based in Hungary has honestly never been a problem, as he travels over to the UK every two weeks. Highly recommend him!!
